Genesis Detox of Brooklyn is a Medically Supervised Inpatient Withdrawal and Stabilization Service. We treat individuals experiencing withdrawal symptoms from alcohol, benzodiazepines, and opioids. Our qualified medical and clinical teams provide individualized care in a calm and intimate setting. Genesis Detox of Brooklyn is accredited by The Joint Commission and SAMHSA Certified to utilize Methadone as a detox medication.

Outpatient Treatment

Genesis DoB Outpatient is a NYS OASAS Article 32 Clinic with Ancillary Withdrawal Management. The Clinic is located in the same building as the inpatient program. Outpatient treatment consists of therapeutic interventions, withdrawal & maintenance medication as well as support services.

We treat those with an alcohol or drug addiction, those wanting to reduce the harm of their addiction, those fearing relapse, and those who are impacted by another's addiction.

Listen I've been through just about everything you can imagine in this state. As far as detox goes this place is amazing. Your personal issues dictate your process and I wasn't feeling well and they did whatever is necessary to make me feel ok and make it to completion. Staff amazing, facility spotless, food was ok but meatloaf life ender lol!!! Mikes on the money and actually cares and Pierre, George and tall aid with glasses are there for you and act it. If you need help and want help than go get in and get better. They will actually seriously help you and work with you and for you!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

First and foremost I want to thank god for another day I have been to a few detox centers over the years and I can honestly say that in "Genesis" there is no judgement because "we" as addicts feel uncomfortable speaking up and talking about our problems and it is true that everything gets so enhanced once you start feeling better. The staff is incredible, yet very professional from the moment you register until the day you are discharged. I want to personally thank all staff members that helped attend my needs to the best of their abilities.
